BUD Leaders supported Transport for London (TfL) on a £7 million project, Streetworks to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill. We worked with TfL, Lambeth Council and the local community to co-design Norwood High Street. To make this inclusive, we worked with diverse communities ranging from young people, businesses, older people and the general community.
Our Impact
Our process engaged people who are seldom heard in the co-design process. We improved the accessibility of the language used on the project, hosted street events and used visual artists to ensure that the project was inclusive for all.
