BUD Updates
Empowering Women in Construction
We’ve booked a new guest for the Empowering Women in Construction podcast! Marsha Brosphy will be joining us, and as a Concrete Sales Executive she will be able to provide a unique insight into the industry.
We’re still looking for new guests, so if you or anyone you know would be willing to talk about ‘Empowering Women in Construction’, please email fraser@budleaders.org

Impact on Urban Health
We’ve been fortunate to have been given the opportunity to work with Impact on Urban health, as a part of their Covid Emergency Fund! 
“We created the COVID emergency fund in September 2020 to respond to the strain on local organisations. The £2.6 million fund was designed to enable community organisations to continue to provide essential health services across Lambeth and Southwark.” – Impact on Urban Health
We have been working with some of these organisations through consultancy, learning more about their challenges and needs.
It has been such a privilege to be able to support them, and help them adapt and overcome problems exacerbated by the pandemic.
We’re so glad that IoUH have created this opportunity in Lambeth and Southwark, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for allowing us to support and amplify Black Owned Businesses!

If you haven’t already joined BLOC, now is the perfect time! It is a completely free platform built on reciprocity, where members can exchange their experience, and help each other learn new skills through one hour of skill share every month!
We’ve created a short survey to get a better understanding of how to best deliver this free service to you! Please take a moment to fill it out and provide feedback here; we’d really appreciate it!
We are also currently looking for organisations interested in integrating BLOC into their work! The ‘Tribes’ feature offers Google Drive integration, Trello and SurveyMonkey support. Members of your team can chat privately, and set deadlines and targets.
It is the perfect place for teams to work together online, and may be the answer to any issues you’ve been facing with online work!
