Rate: £16.50 – £18.50ph (depending on level of experience)

The Role:

You will have at least two years of experience in a similar role. You’ll be an ambitious, self-motivated, and highly organised individual. You will be a natural leader, with strong communication and administration skills.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic, fast-paced team, so aspects of the job description may change as the programmes evolve. The following list of duties is not exhaustive, and we work collaboratively as a team to support each other in our roles.

Person Specification:
The ideal candidate
You will be someone who thrives on excellence and can help us achieve BUD’s strategic vision and goals, have a methodical and solution-focused mindset, adaptability, excellent attention to detail and a strong aptitude for effective and clear communication. You will be highly competent with technology, particularly Microsoft 365, have a firm understanding of Inclusive Leadership, and a purpose-driven outlook.

Essential Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an EA role within a similar organisation or sector.
- Strong leadership and management experience, with a minimum of 2 years experience successfully managing an organisation of 8+ team members.
- Demonstrated ability to drive a fast-paced, purpose-driven organisation to achieve ambitious goals.
- Strong understanding of how businesses operate to be successful.
- Methodical approach and ability to think systematically and use initiative to find and implement solutions and manage change.
- Experience in implementing and monitoring new systems and processes.
- A strong aptitude for clear and concise communication, with stringent attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of the business environment within our sector, and ability to manage the day-to-day running of a small business.
- Experience in CRM systems and updating online software.
- Excellent working knowledge of information technology and computer systems.
Useful Skills
- Experience in Project Management.
- Understanding of ESG/CSR targets and strategies.
- Experience in sales and pipeline management.
- Experience in financial budgets and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will join a dynamic, fast-paced team, some aspects of the job description may change as the organisation evolves.
Administrative and Operational Support
· Act as the CEO’s first point of contact, managing correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
· Effectively manage the CEO’s diary, scheduling meetings, and ensuring deadlines are met.
· Prepare meeting agendas, conduct research for meetings, and take minutes during meetings.
· Join occasional in-person meetings in Cambridgeshire or London to provide direct support and feedback as required.
· Remind the CEO of important tasks, deadlines, and commitments.
· Book business travel arrangements and manage itineraries.
· Proofread documents and prepared training materials.
· Support the CEO with operational tasks, including creating and updating reports, tracking project progress, and following up with team members to ensure deadlines are met.
Communication and Relationship Management
· Communicate with clients, schedule meetings, and arrange meeting agendas.
· Liaise with clients and respond to new business inquiries.
· Maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders.
· Support the CEO during in-person meetings and events, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
LinkedIn and Digital Presence
· Assist with LinkedIn activities, including researching and drafting posts, monitoring engagement, and identifying networking opportunities.
· Support the CEO in maintaining a professional and consistent LinkedIn presence.
· Research and connect with key stakeholders on LinkedIn to support business development efforts.
· Track LinkedIn engagement and provide insights to the CEO on potential opportunities.
Project and Task Management
· Support the CEO with creating and editing presentations and proposals using PowerPoint and Canva.
· Assist in project admin and follow up with team members to ensure deadlines are met.
· Assist with maintaining and updating CRM systems and project management tools.
